For the fourth year running KUŞKOR held a stand at the Great British Birdwatching fair at Rutland Water, UK. This year KUŞKOR teamed up with Birdwatch Turkey to share costs. However, unfortunately, Soner Bekir and Kerem Ali Boyla of Birdwatch Turkey were unable to attend. They were missed during three nights at the Birdfair camp site, though KUŞKOR’s Robin Snape and Damla Beton were able to catch up with fellow Cyprus conservationists Giorgos Spiridakis, Tony Hutchinson, Jane Stylianou and Elani Markitani. North Cyprus Marine Turtle Conservation Project volunteer Jack Allum helped to man the KUŞKOR stand.

As well as promoting KUŞKOR and North Cyprus as a birding destination to thousands of fair attendees, a presentation was given at the Anglian Water Bird Watching Centre on biodiversity and conservation in North Cyprus. Transport costs and fees were met by the North Cyprus Presidency.
